Double Hung Windows

There’s a reason the double-hung window is such a popular choice among homeowners. Pair its timeless, classic look with our wide range of color and design options, and enhance most any style home, from contemporary to historical. Two check-rail options give you additional flexibility.

Both lower and upper sash can be opened, bringing fresh air into your home and increasing ventilation, Plus, they tilt in to make cleaning easy.

Sash options:
• Equal (upper and lower sashes are equal in size)
• Cottage-style (lower sash is larger than upper)
• Oriel (upper sash larger than lower)

ProVia, Andersen, and Vanguard double-hung windows are all excellent choices for restoration and renovation projects where historical accuracy is important. They are also well-suited for rooms facing walkways, porches, or patios, as they do not protrude into the space.

Sliding Windows

If you want fresh air and fantastic views, consider our easy-to-slide sliding windows. With an expansive glass area (the most of any of our operable windows), top-to-bottom ventilation, and contemporary styling, they are a beautiful, space saving-option.

Our sliding windows open on smooth, easy-to-maintain tracks, and lift out for easy cleaning of the exterior glass from the inside of your home. You can choose to have both sashes slide, or only one. The narrow, contoured frames mean more viewing area.

Sliding windows are ideal for maximizing a room’s view and ventilation. They are an excellent choice for rooms facing walkways, porches, decks, patios, or landscaping, as they do not protrude into the space. They are also well-suited for egress windows. With both a left- and right-sliding sash, sliding windows are a great ventilation solution for rooms where they are the sole window.

Casement Windows

If you want big views and bountiful breezes, a casement window is the right choice for you. With expansive, uninterrupted glass area and top-to-bottom ventilation when cranked open, they are beautiful, as well as energy efficient.

Casements can be hinged from the right or the left, and open wide for hassle-free-cleaning from the inside of your home. An easily accessible lever locks the window at multiple points for a weather tight seal.

Packerland Home Improvement’s casement windows are ideal for maximizing a room’s view AND its ventilation. They are an excellent choice for above cabinets or counters where opening requires a reach. In addition, custom grille patterns can mimic double-hung styling, making them an option for restoration and renovation projects where historic accuracy is important.

Awning Windows

On their own or paired with another window, awning windows provide additional ventilation and light to a room.

Awning windows are hinged at the top and open from the bottom, meaning you can let fresh air in and stay clear of the weather, even in a light rain.

Awning replacement windows are a great option ideal for maximizing a room’s view AND its ventilation. They are an excellent choice for above sinks, counters, or doors where opening requires a reach. In addition, they pair well with other windows, especially large or non-operable picture windows.

Picture Windows

What better way to showcase the view than with the elegance of a picture window? Mother Nature truly takes center stage with this deceptively simple, yet immediately impactful design. Alone or combined with other windows, a picture window is an excellent way to bring the beauty of the outdoors into your home. Not only that, their stationary design makes them highly energy efficient and allows for much larger sizes than a venting window.

Our Fibrex® material can easily support the weight of the heavy glass commonly needed for large picture windows. It also allows for thinner frames, which means maximal glass space so you can let in as much light as possible and get every inch of that amazing view.

Picture windows are an excellent choice for letting in light from hard to reach spaces, like high walls in a vaulted room. A combination of a picture window with an operable replacement window adds a functional element to the aesthetic one. Pair a casement window on either side to increase ventilation, combine different-sized picture windows for a dramatic look, or surround your patio door with long picture windows to create a wall of glass.

Bay and Bow Windows

Looking to make a room feel bigger and brighter? Want to capture dramatic views and enhance your home’s curb appeal? Consider a bay or bow window. Also called projection windows, these windows add architectural interest while maximizing room space. Bay windows have three sides and are available in four projection angles. Bow windows form a gentle arch of four, five, or six windows.

Bay/bow windows are a great way to add additional shelving or storage space to a room. Or, take it a step further, and add a reading nook or extra seating—it’s like a room addition without changing your home’s footprint. Our highly efficient construction keeps cold air and drafts out while letting the view in.

Bay and bow replacement windows are an excellent choice for opening up a room and increasing the light and the viewing angle—up to twice the field of vision. They are also versatile and can be used as a replacement for most large window openings.

Specialty Windows

Create a striking combination. Add architectural elegance. Design something distinctly you. If you want to give your home the wow factor, consider our custom-made specialty windows.

Fifteen different shape options, including custom and combination options, allow for nearly limitless creativity. Add an elegant arch window, a circle window – even a triangle window. Combine multiple specialty shapes or join with another operable window, and you can give your home the unique touch you’re looking for.

Specialty windows are an excellent choice if you want to match a specific design period or style—or define a new one. They are a great way to add instant character, enhance curb appeal, create a focal point, or add more light to a room.
